About Joanna

Joanna François is a local personality, professional singer and host. She began her career at the young age of 10, taking part in international singing competitions. She's travelled to sing in Las Vegas, Hong Kong, Taiwan and San Francisco.

Starting with touring local venues to singing to crowds of up to 8,000 people as a child, Joanna is a veteran of live events and the spotlight. She has been a part of multiple shows and events, notably singing with the Singapore Symphonic Orchestra, the Mosaic Festival, Hong Kong Fringe Festival, Taiwan A Capella Festival, San Francisco Theater Festival and multiple local venues. At age 14, she was discovered by Dick Lee and signed to his agency: Music and Movement.

Now she helms the Day Show on Power 98 Love Songs on Power Up from 9AM-12PM. Her mentors include Jeremy Ratnam, Kuo Po and John Lee.

Bubbly, witty and a little sassy, these effervescent qualities have effortlessly carried Joanna through interviews with the likes of Hossan Leong, Dean Lewis, Jesse McCartney, Mabel, Cirque Du Soleil and James Arthur.
