About Joanna
Joanna François is a Singapore-based presenter, professional singer, and award-winning voiceover artist with nearly two decades of experience in entertainment and media. She began her career at the age of 10, representing Singapore in international singing competitions and performing in cities like Las Vegas, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and San Francisco.
Discovered at age 14 by cultural icon Dick Lee and signed to his agency Music and Movement, Joanna quickly became a familiar face and voice in the local arts scene—singing with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, performing at the Esplanade’s first-ever Mosaic Music Festival, and performing at events across Asia and the U.S.
A seasoned host, Joanna has emceed hundreds of live shows and ceremonies across corporate, military, lifestyle, and entertainment sectors. In 2025, she reached a career milestone by hosting the Papal Mass at the Singapore National Stadium, welcoming Pope Francis and a live audience of 60,000 with more online.
On air, Joanna has helmed several radio shows on Power 98FM, including Sundays with Joanna, The Late Show, and The Power Breakfast Show with Joanna, where she engages over 100,000 listeners daily with music, interviews, and interactive segments. Her guest list includes everyone from Dean Lewis and James Arthur to Cirque du Soleil, Jesse McCartney, Bebe Rexha, Hailee Steinfeld, John Legend, and the casts of Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon, and Wicked.
As a content creator, Joanna blends creative storytelling with data-driven strategy to produce videos, podcasts, and social campaigns that resonate. She has scripted, hosted, and edited over 70 digital videos for SoDrama! Entertainment, and was instrumental in launching viral content across platforms—boosting total reach, interactions, and viewership significantly between 2022 and 2024.
